12 years ago, we were the first hotel with an outdoor whirlpool in Zermatt – but time does not stand still for us. That’s why we have completely modernized the wellness area. The outdoor area now shines in warm wood, the technology has been renewed according to the latest standards. The water is now treated exclusively with salt – the first hotel in Zermatt to do so – and thus entirely without chemicals. This creates a brine bath feeling that creates a velvety-soft sensation on the skin and is also gentle and caring. The facility is also future-oriented in terms of sustainability: The water is heated by our solar panels, which are installed on the roof. Investments that are important to us and increase comfort at the same time.
What does that mean for our guests? It’s simple: you come back to the hotel after a day of hiking, shower off the dust from the hiking paths and trails and hop into our whirlpool. As the water is already of drinking water quality, you don’t need to shower afterwards, and there is no unpleasant chlorine smell either. Healthy wellness for our largest organ – our skin.
